SDMHA Families,

 

Registration for the 2026–2027 season is open! Please visit http://Sookemha.rampregistrations.com to register your player(s). If you are new to SDMHA, you will need to create a new RAMP account (one account per family).

 

Registration Dates:

General Registration for 2026/2027 – April 1 to 30, 2026

Late Registration for 2026/2027 - June 1 to 8, 2026 ($50 late fee)

Late Late Registration for 2026/2027 – August 1-8, 2026 ($100 late fee)

 

Divisions may fill quickly — early registration is strongly recommended.

  

Registration Information:

Before beginning registration, parents/guardians must have the following information and completed items. Incomplete registrations will not be accepted.

 

Registration Requirements:

1.      Player information (name, address etc.)

2.      Parent/Guardian information (names, address, phone number, etc.)

3.      Review the SDMHA Social Media Policy

4.      Review the SDMHA Code of Conduct

5.      Complete all outstanding Hockey Canada / BC Hockey waivers in your Spordle account (https://account.spordle.com/login)

6.      Create/update SDMHA RAMP registration account

7.      Create/update emergency medical/contact information ( ePACT )

8.      Complete Respect In Sport for Parents – Certificate number required during registration. To find your certificate # click HERE. Cost to be paid by participant

9.      Complete a Criminal Record Check.  If submitting or renewing a new CRC, attach proof of submission. If you are uncertain of your CRC status/expiry please contact registrar@sookeminorhockey.ca 

10.  Valid credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit, MasterCard Debit)

 

2026-27 Registration Fees

• U7 (2020/2021): $650 + *$100
• U7 Female (2020/2021): $650 + *$100
• U9 (2018/2019): $700 + $100
• U9 Female (2018/2019): $700 + *$100
• U11 (2016/2017): $830 + *$100
• U13 (2014/2015): $830 + *$100
• U15 (2012/2013): $830 + *$100
• U15 Female (2012/2013): $830 + *$100
• U18 (2009/2010/2011): $840 + *$100

* $100 mandatory fundraising fee

 

Payment

Registration fees may be paid either in full at the time of registration or through four monthly installments (at registration, May 31, June 30, and July 31).

Please note: All outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to the start of the 2026–27 season. Players will not be permitted on the ice, participate in tryouts, or be released from SDMHA until all outstanding fees have been cleared.

 

Try Out Fee

Players wishing to try out for an SDMHA Rep Team must pay a non-refundable $90 tryout fee. This fee covers ice time, evaluations, and administrative costs.

• Fee must be paid in full before participating in tryouts.
• Paying the fee does not guarantee placement on a rep team.
• Players not selected will be placed on a recreation team.
• Tryout schedules will be released in August.

 

Available Discounts:

All discounts require a promo code from the Registrar prior to registration.

1. New to SDMHA Discount – $100 off for players registering with SDMHA for the first time
2. Family Discount – 20% off general registration fees for families with three or more players
3. Goalie Discount – $500 off for full-time goalies in U11 and above – Goalie must remain in net for the full season

Refund Policy

1. Withdrawals due to serious injury/illness or family relocation:  100% of unused fees refunded, minus a $50 admin fee
2. Withdrawals before August 15:  Refund minus $50 admin fee
3. Withdrawals August 15–September 8:  50% of registration fee refunded, minus $50 admin fee
4. Withdrawals after September 8:  No refund

 

Special consideration may be granted by the SDMHA Executive for extraordinary circumstances.

 

Financial Assistance

SDMHA is committed to ensuring that every child who wants to play hockey can get on the ice. Families experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to apply for support through programs such as Kidsport Canada, Athletics for Kids, Canadian Tire JumpStart Program, and Hockey Canada Assist Fund. These organizations offer funding to help cover registration fees for eligible players. If you are applying for assistance or need guidance, please contact our Registrar. We’re here to help make hockey accessible for all.
